Mary Tuifua is a Registered Nurse who is the founder and CEO of Elder Village Consulting, established since 2020. Mary has been a nurse for more than 30 years. At a very young age, Mary started her career in health care as a caregiver for her mother's 3 Adult Family Homes. Mary is also an Adult Family Home Administrator Educator for Highline College Since 2021 and has her own Adult Family Home in Renton Washington. She has experience as Care director for Assisted Living, Assistant Manager for Medical Surgical and Skilled Nursing. She especially cared for many hospice patients and believes deeply in her catholic faith that every person must be given the honor of compassion, no matter what stage of life they are in.
Her main passion in Nursing is Long Term Care in the Adult Family Home.
Mary's Vision is to provide Education & Mentorship to as many Adult Family Home provides throughout Washington State with the hopes of improving the care for all the residents they serve in their homes.
We offer a wide range of services to assist the Adult Family Provider such as initial licensing, consulting with contractors and realtors, change of ownerships, response to complaint investigations, improving operations, medication auditing and document review, marketing & networking, consulting and mentorship, overall AFH compliance, and most importantly AFH provider & staff education.
Elder Village Consulting, has serviced more then 400 Adult Family homes throughout Washington State, extending from North Blaine Washington, to Spokane, to Bremerton, Wenatchee, to South Vancouver.
We assist the AFH provider with valuable time saving information and resources to promote a successful business.
We believe that when the AFH provider is supported, they will be more capable to provide the best possible care, overall, the Resident will benefit and the quality is improved and maintained.
